What is a Task?

A Task in Planobot represents work that needs attention, such as following up with a contractor, responding to a tenant, collecting a document, or handling an invoice before a deadline.

How Tasks are created

Planobot can propose a Task when message analysis finds actionable work. Users can also select + Add Task or Add task to create one manually. A payment obligation may have a separate payment workflow Task when follow-up is required.

Task information

A Task can contain a title, category, workflow status, priority, owner, due date, next action, blocking reason, Property, Counterparty, prerequisites, checklist steps, and linked records. Related Messages provide the source or supporting context.

Review and manage a Task

Review an AI-proposed Task before approval. From Task detail, edit supported fields, add prerequisites and checklist steps, view linked elements, select Complete, or Reopen a completed Task. The Task list also supports inline status changes and Trash for selected Tasks.
