The problem
Bills may arrive as attachments, payment reminders, statements, or ordinary-looking vendor messages. Sender-based inbox rules can miss the difference between informational mail and an unresolved obligation.
How Planobot helps
Planobot analyzes imported Messages for payment-related evidence and can propose Payment records with amounts, dates, document types, parties, and Property links. Payment-related Messages appear in the Payments folder when linked.
How it works
Busy Gmail Inbox → imported Messages → payment detection → Payments folder and ledger → user review
Example
An email titled “September service summary” includes a $285 balance due. Planobot can identify the payment information even though the subject does not say “invoice,” then present it for review rather than treating the guess as final.
What you can do
Review the source, correct the document type or amount, approve a valid Payment, reject false positives, and manually add a Payment when analysis misses a real obligation.
